I'm totally getting into the christmas thing this year. And why? Well, it all boils down to this realization I had while e-shopping. In previous years my strategy was simply: shock-value. I'd be all "ah HA bet you weren't expecting THAT!".... as my sister opens her Avenging Unicorn playset -  http://www.mcphee.com/items/11554.html with an awkward uh-huh face. Who wouldn't want to impale that mime with a pearlescent horn? I'd later ask. Christmas was, for me, a bit of a gamble because I was always a little out-of-touch. this is REALLY friggin' sad. all my sxc.hu images I linked to were removed, which effectively makes the process on some of my older works look like shit. the whole skill of extraction, modification, and collage just doesn't really exist without seeing the originals. damnit I say.
